Zones of kinship, love & playbour dedicates itself to sites of non-work and the often close interweavings of life and work. ‘playbour’ refers to a zone between play, leisure and labour. Through their practices and processes, artist invite the visitors to enter spaces of re-creation and re-production.
During Zurich Art Weekend, Claudia Hill (Berlin) will activate her istallative piece Co-Weaving. The artist initiates moments of sociality with a group of weavers inhabiting the work. The loom becomes a somatic communication tool, creating a fabric that weaves conversations, readings and concert situations as immaterial components into the actual carpet sculptures produced on site.
