In cooperation with the Tichy Ocean Foundation, the Wasserkirche shows a floor-to-ceiling installation made of clothes’ racks. The shape of these racks subtly takes up the architecture and spatially establishes a formal connection. Windows designed by Augusto Giacometti arrange the light into the church amplifying the sacredness of the space. Instead of glass panes, Vogel incorporates plaster-soaked garments into the clothes’ racks structures, inhibiting the light coming in from the windows.
