Swatch is happy to welcome you to the Swatch Art Peace Hotel on the occasion of the Zurich Art Weekend 2023.
Opened in 2011 to artists from all over the world, the artists residency serves as an open space for creative minds in the field of artistic expression. Since then, the Swatch Art Peace Hotel – based in Shanghai, China- has welcomed over 480 artists from 55 countries.
The exhibition “The Swatch Art Peace Hotel: Art from the World” aims to present this kaleidoscope of ideas, talents, projects and dreams through a variety of different cultures, disciplines and generations that has participated in the project over the first twelve years.

Swatch has invited Saype the contemporary artist and pioneer of a new land art movement to give an Art Talk during which he will unveil his latest art project in collaboration with the brand. Saype, who was ranked in 2019 by Forbes magazine among the thirty most influential people under the age of thirty in the fields of arts and culture, created two giant ephemeral artworks featuring children dreaming of space travel and the sky, with Kenya’s breathtaking landscapes as his canvas. The talk will be animated by Carlo Giordanetti – CEO of the Swatch Art Peace Hotel.
