Welcome

Set to animate the city between March 4–6, our latest initiative presents an exciting program centered around creating a platform for exchange between the public and art. The program seeks to unite the city’s art scene, giving an opportunity to explore our participating venues across town and engage with a series of thematic, cross-disciplinary events. Developed in collaboration with the AI Center of ETH Zurich, “AI + ART” will take place on Saturday March 5 with a talk from leading figures in the field. We look forward to welcoming you for a full three-day weekend of exploration and exchange.

Join us for an inspiring talk on AI + ART on Saturday March 5, developed in collaboration with the AI Center at ETH Zurich. Leading figures in the fields of AI and the arts will exchange about the perspectives, impacts, and challenges that inform their respective activities within recent developments towards a human-centered, trustworthy Artificial Intelligence.

Alex Ilic (Executive Director & Co-Founder of ETH AI Center), Sabine Himmelsbach (Director of the Haus der Elektronischen Künste, Basel) and Nora Al-Badri (multidisciplinary and conceptual multimedia artist whose post-digital work has been presented and recognised worldwide) will engage in a cross-disciplinary conversation moderated by Roland Fischer (interdisciplinary scientist, writer and curator for art and science). An informal gathering will close the day.
