“Sounds of Signs” brings together three artists who deal with signs in very different ways and have something narrative about them.
Ana Roldán’s (*1977, MX/CH) “landscapes” on painted ceramic panels are composed of simple shapes and concepts. While Andrea Sparta (*1996, F) often works situationally and with found materials, Susan Hefuna’s (*1962, D/EG) paper and textile works explore visual and cultural signs that make her intercultural identity visible.
