Galerie Peter Kilchmann is pleased to present the first solo exhibition of Grace Schwindt (b. 1979, Germany. Lives and works in London and Sicily). With bronze and ceramic sculptures specially conceived for this exhibition, mixed media paintings on canvas and paper works, she weaves a network of hybrid forms and creatures – part plant, part human – that permeate the space through motion and touch. These bodies of diverse origins, united by a common denominator, bear the burden of trauma.

Galerie Peter Kilchmman is pleased to present Fire Flight by Didier William (b.1983 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Lives and works in Philadelphia, USA), the artist’s first solo show in Europe. His work focuses on constructions of blackness that include the nuances of diasporic identity, as well as his own experiences of immigrating to the United States from Haiti. Fire Flight explores historic and figurative sites of contestation, mythological considerations of ground, and our sense of ancestry and belonging.
