Becky Tucker’s art merges elements of costumes and armor from the Middle Ages and extinct creatures, creating works that exude a mysterious aura. Often described as anachronistic artifacts, her works showcase female forms and explore themes from fetish culture and sci-fi. The carefully created details, vivid colors and use of the grotesque and surreal transcend linear interpretation. Tucker’s works emanate an immediate attraction, inviting viewers to explore and be transported into a new experience by a primal force.
