Since 1924, Swiss Post has been actively supporting contemporary art. Today, its collection comprises around 470 works – but its commitment goes far beyond collecting. Swiss Post plays a significant role among corporate art collections, driven by its strong commitment to contemporary Swiss art. Since its realignment in 2020, the art programme has been based on three central pillars: the art collection, art in architecture, and partnerships with “Art in the Periphery” initiatives.

Swiss Post offers a diverse platform for Swiss artists and fosters dialogue in society through art. At the heart of the collection strategy are current issues that are relevant both to the company and to society at large – including diversity, social justice, the mindful use of resources, sustainability, climate concerns, and the exploration of our history.

When selecting new works, special attention is given to how precisely and thoughtfully these themes are addressed. The Swiss Post art collection is intended to reflect the social reality of Switzerland – a space for observation, reflection, and exchange. For Swiss Post, art is not only a matter of aesthetic quality, but also a powerful means to explore and understand the complexities of our time.
