“Botanical Memories: On Healing and Care” is a transdisciplinary exhibition on medicinal plants at the Old Botanical Garden University of Zurich and continues in the New Botanical Garden I UZH . Through different installations and performances, the exhibition explores the cultural, political, and ecological significance of local healing plants, highlighting traditional knowledge systems, histories, and power structures that shape their relevance in contemporary contexts. Developed with artists, botanists and scientists it examines how care, memory, and knowledge intertwine.

Through different installations and performances, the exhibition explores the cultural, social, and ecological significance of local healing plants. Developed by botanists, scientists, artists, and communicators, it examines how care, memory, and knowledge intertwine. Addressing the marginalisation of traditional practitioners, the exhibition reactivates suppressed knowledge as living practice and invites collective reflection through performances and talks.
