ZURICH ART WEEKEND 2024

Join us for the 7th Edition of ZURICH ART WEEKEND from Friday, June 7th to Sunday, June 9th 2024! Immerse yourself in 3–days of curated exhibitions and events, where artists, curators, collectors, and enthusiasts come together to experience the international contemporary art scene! Free and open to the public, this weekend-long event is organised and hosted by museums, galleries, off-spaces, publishers, collections and foundations in Zurich. Together with these 65+ venues across the city, a curated program of 75+ exhibitions and 130+ events showcases the work of 180+ established and up-and-coming artists.

VISITOR INFORMATION

Zurich Art Weekend takes place across 65+ venues throughout the city, all at close proximity. To make the most of your weekend, get the free public pass, follow our geographical routes and check the agenda of events. Information points can be found at Löwenbräukunst, Kunsthaus Zürich, Helmhaus and Museum Rietberg. Zurich Art Weekend program booklets are available at all participating venues.

FREE PUBLIC PASS
Get the free Public Pass to Zurich Art Weekend 2024. The program is free and open to all and spontaneous attendance is always welcome. As some events have limited capacity, we recommend securing your spot by registering in advance. Please note a few institutions require entrance fees and for some events, tickets must be purchased.

MOBILITY 
Zurich has an efficient public transport network – more information along with timetables can be found here. Additionally, e-bikes/bike-rental company Publibikes offer convenient access through the city. Uber is available in Zurich. For Taxis call: +41 444 44 44 or +41 777 77 77.

Visitors can purchase the Zürich card here to benefit from free transit with public transport and free admission or reduced entrance rates at all ZH museums. Available for 24 hours (CHF29 adults / CHF19 children) or 72 hours (CHF56 adults / CHF37 children).

Together with 65+ venues, from major institutions to globally influential galleries, world-class universities, cutting-edge off-spaces and prestigious collections and foundations, Zurich Art Weekend presents 75+ exhibitions across the city, celebrating the richness of the city’s contemporary art ecosystem. Amongst the 130+ curated events hosted across the city, for the first time, ZAW24 spotlights a new performance program featuring key international artists, choreographers, performers and dancers alongside returning event formats of art walks guided tours, artist talks, gallery breakfasts, interdisciplinary events, workshops, brunches, cocktail parties and more…

VIP PROGRAM

VIP access is granted upon invitation by the venues. VIP Guests benefit from access to exclusive events, free admission or reduced entry fees in all participating institutions and priority access to public events. Professionals – presidents, directors and curators representing cultural institutions – should fill in the online form Zurich Art Weekend will take into consideration requests arriving no later than May 31st, 2024 and will notify eligibility in writing.
